If you could have anything what would it be?

As a small child I remember having very vivid dreams of paradise. The lolly pop trees grew in the warm sunshine. Sprigs of grape, strawberry and orange colored candies on branches that could be picked from trees. Tootsie pop bushes with lime flavored gummy leaves lined the path of peanut brittle. Maybe I am living with rose colored glasses, but I do not see this dream as a candy land brain fart...to me it was paradise, people were happy, no one was sick, and everyone seemed to like everyone. I hated waking up from this dream...although I will admit I did try to stuff all the candy into my pillow case for later and was disappointed in the morning when I found my pillow on the floor and an empty case in my hand.

A few years later that common dream changed. The candy fell from the trees and world became dark. At first I did not recognize this as the paradise of my child hood but as the years past and the dream came back often the similarities took place. Now people were running from each other...hiding in abandoned buildings and being shot. Now the people who used to play in the sun all seemed to hate each other. I seemed to forever be running from something yet never new what it was.

Now I know what those dreams were all about. Heaven and Hell...Good and Evil...Paradise and Hades.....what ever you may call it. As a child I was allowed a glimpse of what this world had to offer in a perspective that would grab my attention. When these dreams changed I shown hell and what it is going to feel like as this world takes on a new meaning for everyone.

So...If I could have anything I would want love, acceptance and to be able to walk out doors and have my nutritional needs met just as Jesus promised. If I could have anything...money would not matter as people would again realize individual talents and how much fun it is to work together. There would be no need for Electric Companies and Gas Companies as the world would be our home and the environment stable. No one would be sick and no one would fight. People would love one another and share this love with the world around them, if I could have anything.
